About The Music department

The Chabot College Music Department is a fully accredited institution that offers the best opportunities in instruction and performance in an environment that offers personalized attention and world-class facilities. The faculty is comprised of accomplished performers, educators, composers, and authors, who offer their students exceptional instruction, as well as private lessons, to bring out their best potential. We offer performance opportunities in 4 wind bands, 3 jazz bands, and 1 choir, which involve over 250 students. The department also offers courses which provide cultural and aesthetic enrichment for the general college student and the college community at large.
